


Shawn LaRé Brinkley
Executive Clinical Director
Shawn LaRé Brinkley, Licensed Marriage Family Therapist, Transformational Performance Coach, and Speaker/Trainer/Author is best described as a “people” person. Shawn LaRé possesses a magnetic zest for life as her energy is, boundless, her passion, relentless, and her joyous spirit, infectious! Her private practice in Encino, CA is a group practice, which Shawn LaRé considers a “teaching practice” as she employs and supervises Associate Marriage Family Therapists, Associate Professional Clinical Counselors, and Associate Clinical Social Workers as well as she is contracted with University of Massachusetts Global as a field training partner. In this role, Shawn LaRé works with first and second-year students of clinical social work as their practicum site supervisor.
A Community advocate, Mrs. Brinkley has serves as president of the Black Women’s Network; a business and professional women’s organization. Additionally, she serves as Vice-President on the Board of Directors for The Advot Project, whose mission is to empower incarcerated, formerly incarcerated, economically disadvantaged, “at promise” adolescent boys, girls, and young adults to take control of their destiny by teaching them communication, life, and healthy relationship skills through artistic avenues such as theatre/drama, music, poetry/spokenword, and dance. Most recently, Mrs. Brinkley founded a 501C3 Non-Profit organization to honor the illustrious memory of her late husband: The William Joseph Brinkley Center for Cultural Affirmation, which endeavors to uplift, honor and affirm people of color through the delivery positive programming dedicated to mental wellness, artistic consciousness, character building, and dream designing.

Shawn LaRé has received countless awards and honors for her outstanding community service, commitment to excellence, and humanitarian efforts. Committed to furthering awareness on mental health and particularly dedicated to erasing the stigma around seeking therapy and mental wellness in BIPOC communities, Shawn LaRé speaks to professional organizations educating therapists about the nuanced needs of African Americans and BIPOC individuals in the therapeutic setting. A tireless woman’s advocate, Shawn LaRé coaches women who may need a jumpstart to honoring their dreams. She helps them to move past limiting beliefs and step into what she calls their “Who-You-Are-Ness,” and to live in their God-Given, God-Driven Purpose. Further coaching expertise includes helping creative individuals reach their full artistic potential using behavioral shifting tools and mindset development and change interventions. Her passion is set on fire when she can marry her artistic self to her clinical self.

Brinkley has co-authored two book anthologies and is currently working on her first solo book project. Additionally, Shawn LaRe’ is pursuing her Doctorate in General Psychology, with an emphasis in Performance Psychology and last year she had the distinct honor of traveling to Trinidad & Tobago to deliver her first TEDx TALK, entitled “When the Fairytale Fades.” She lives life on “full tilt boogie” and believes love, laughter, and ADHD are her superpowers. A fun fact about Mrs. Brinkley…She is a Certified Laughter Yoga Instructor.

Kim Anthony

Kim Anthony-Morrow is a successful business owner, media entrepreneur and philanthropic leader who’s raised more than $20 million in funding for worthy community causes. But her story does not begin there.
It begins a few decades ago, emancipating from the foster care system. At the age of 18 she found herself on a bus bench, with her belongings in a backpack, $120 to her name and the directions to the local welfare office. On that bench she gathered her resolve to “re-raise” herself in the hope of building a life that would make a difference and be an encouragement to others.
She went on to find entrepreneurial success as the founder & CEO of Urban Media Ventures and publisher of the award-winning Urban Business Journal, now celebrating it 21st year.
Determined to never forget how challenging it was for her access the resources she desperately needed to achieve her dreams, she launched the Urban Excellence Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to providing access to classes, coaching and community resource navigation for anyone with a commitment to bettering their own lives, regardless of their ability to pay. In 2022 the Urban Excellence Coaching Academy was accredited by the International Coach Federation, the gold standard of coach education accreditation worldwide.
Kimberly’s heart for the unhoused came full circle as she, alongside her husband Tommy, co-founded the Sheppard’s Nest, a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to providing dignity-informed supportive housing for women-in-need in the greater Los Angeles region.

She has over twenty years of corporate C-suite executive level management experience. Her employers were fortune 500 companies in the banking, technology and staffing industries who became her retained clients when she opened One Solution in 2001. She is highly respected as an effective results-oriented executive management business consultant, human resources expert, and speaker/trainer.

Her diverse experience is sought after in the areas of HR performance management, talent development, HR compliance, fundraising and corporate major events planning. She is the District One Community Liaison to Inglewood City Councilwoman Gloria Gray. Her passion work is 30+ years in the non-profit sector., She is a Past President and currently serving Community & PR Director of Black Women’s Network, a 43 years strong Non-profit and Professional Women’s Organization dedicated to providing informational seminars, skills & resources sharing which builds power relations; that develops women financially, personally & professionally. She is the past President of Dress for Success Los Angeles and a former National PTA board member. She has held numerous other board level appointments and has many other civic affiliations.
Gwendolyn is Founder of “Personala-TeaS©“ which are healing wisdom circle temperament seminars over tea and table talk. After the passing of her son she founded “ Jason’s The Inspiration Walk©” an annual memorial community silent meditation walk that provides healthy heart resources and encourages kindness and good deeds behavior. She is a certified essential oils practitioner and a certified yoga breathing coach. She’s co-director and provides instruction & management for Divine Soldier Martial Arts, Character Building and Fitness Academy. She has earned the distinction of Competent Leader (CL) Toastmaster. She is a Myers Briggs Practitioner and Certified “True Colors” and DiSC Personality Type indicator facilitator.
She earned her undergraduate BA and MA Human Behavior degrees from Loyola Marymount University. She is the raving fan of husband Larry Goodman and they are the proud parents of 3 Sons, an only daughter and living the GRANDLife with three grandchildren under age nine.

Tiffanie Young

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist practicing in California, Tiffanie has extensive experience working with clients dealing with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationship conflict, and phase of life transitions. From college students to retirees, Tiffanie views it as a privilege to accompany clients on their personal journeys towards healing and growth.

Tiffanie's approach is client-centered and individualized, creating a safe and nurturing space for clients to explore and discover their own truth. Drawing from a combination of Psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavioral perspectives, interventions are tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.

In addition to her work as a therapist, Tiffanie is also a seasoned actress. She has brought her deep empathy and understanding of human emotions to her performances, exploring complex characters with honesty and depth. Her experience in the entertainment industry has allowed her to further develop her skills in connecting with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences.

John Steinreich

John Steinreich is a graduate of Rutgers University with a BA in Spanish and from Colorado Theological Seminary with an MA in Church History. He has over thirty years of experience as an educator, social service professional, and businessman. John is also an entrepreneur, musician, public speaker, theologian, and published author. His books include “A Great Cloud of Witnesses: Lessons for Modern-Day Christians from Church History” (www.Lulu.com/spotlight/jdsbookstore) and host of the “God and Government” podcast on the Anchor, Googlecast, and Spotify platforms. Most importantly, John is a loving husband and a proud father of two children.

Mishka C. Kimball

Mishka C. Kimball is a Latina Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Transformational Coach, Professor and Author of “The Empath’s Self-Care Journal.” Mishka is also an Intuitive, Emotional, and Physical Empath & HSP. She specializes in helping Highly Sensitive Adults and Empaths live a life of balance and peace in an overwhelming world. As a Latina, Mishka also focuses on helping to advocate and destigmatize mental health in the Latinx community. She is the founder of Kimball Therapy, a private practice located in Los Angeles. She is also the founder of Kimball Collective, where she offers coaching and branding services for therapists in private practice.

Mishka is a Professor of Psychology at Mount Saint Mary’s University, and was the first Latina President of SFV-CAMFT in 2021. She has been featured on news outlets and television shows on LATV, Fox Los Angeles- Good Day LA, and Univision. A fun fact about Mishka is that she has a Russian name, but she is Nicaraguan, Colombian, and Guatemalan.

Markeeta Smith has over 25 years in the financial and insurance industries in Los Angeles, CA., and Atlanta, Georgia. Since retiring from Merrill Lynch Financial Services, Markeeta has tapped into her entrepreneurial spirit and founded a professional organizing business, providing services to individuals and corporations who need help with decluttering and developing creative solutions for storage and smart use of space. She has pivoted the organizational expertise she polished in the financial arena to a more creative use of her natural abilities and talents. Markeeta is known for making a way out of no way in cluttered spaces and poorly organized offices and homes alike. In addition, Markeeta recently formed a property management company, D & E Suites, LLC, providing rooms and shared living spaces for those in need of affordable housing.
