With nearly six years of experience in the mental health field, I have worked across diverse settings, including public, charter, and private K-12 schools, specializing in supporting children with ADHD, autism, and other neurodivergent conditions. My clinical experience also includes working in Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP) at Rogers Behavioral Health, where I have provided individual and group therapy to adolescents and adults managing depression, OCD, anxiety, eating disorders, and other mental health challenges. My therapeutic approach focuses on empowering clients to "live their best life" by building skills, self-confidence, and self-respect, while fostering mindfulness and accountability in their healing process. I view my role as a guide and coach, while recognizing that my clients are the experts in their own lives, and their commitment and intentionality are key to their personal growth. My work is grounded in trauma-informed care, solution-focused strategies, cultural sensitivity, and anti-racism.

Jennifer Levesque
Marriage and Family Therapist Intern
Jennifer Levesque is a student trainee currently working on her Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy at Capella University. She expects to graduate in June 2025. Prior to her role as a student trainee, Jennifer attained her BA in Psychology at California State Northridge, raised two young men and was a middle school teacher. As a teacher she worked with students from diverse cultural, religious and socioeconomic backgrounds. Always curious herself, Jennifer sought to incite curiosity and wonder in her students in an open, safe and supportive environment where all were welcome and appreciated for their uniqueness. The work with her adolescent students, as well as the trauma and mental health challenges Jennifer witnessed among friends, and families incited a passion in Jennifer to work with a more diverse population in a different capacity. She chose to return to school and pursue a career in Marriage and Family Therapy, proving you are never too old to start over again.
Her therapeutic approach is a culturally affirming, humanistic approach, where Jennifer believes each individual is unique and capable of reaching their full potential when provided with a safe, supportive environment. She treats all clients with empathy and unconditional positive regard, validating their unique experience, while creating a safe space for growth and self-acceptance. She applies various therapeutic models, such as Narrative Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, Collaborative Language Therapy and Aand techniques designed to align with client’s goals and build on clients strengths. Jennifer honors the uniqueness of each individual, couple and family by co-creating goals and treatment plans that support and promote mental health, healing, and positive relationships with self and others.
Jennifer spent the past five months working with individuals, couples, and families from various cultural, ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds. Her clinical work includes working with clients experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, loss, addiction and recovery, domestic violence, sexual assault, issues with communication, life transitions and adjustments. In addition, Jennifer spent the past five months working with psychoeducational groups, including victims of domestic violence, anger management and trauma-informed parenting.
Her goal is to work collaboratively with her clients to support and empower them on their journey towards growth, healing, resiliency and self-discovery.

Gia Singh
Marriage and Family Therapist Intern
I am a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern with nearly a year of experience working with individuals, couples, families, and children. Each session has deepened my understanding of human connection and allowed me to put my education into practice, helping me shape a therapeutic approach that supports meaningful, lasting change.
I chose to pursue a career in marriage and family therapy because I believe our mental health is deeply influenced by the relationships we hold, with loved ones, communities, and the systems around us. When we strengthen those relationships and gain tools to navigate them more effectively, we create a foundation for improved emotional well-being.
My work is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Family Therapy (CBFT) and Narrative Therapy. I use CBFT to help clients recognize and shift unhelpful thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I also integrate Narrative Therapy, which allows clients to externalize problems and see that many challenges stem from larger contexts rather than from within themselves.
Ultimately, my goal is to help people live their best lives, lives that feel aligned, connected, and empowered. By supporting clients in building healthier relationships and re-authoring the stories that shape them, I aim to create a space where lasting growth and healing can occur.
